Product Overview
The VCT HD Failsafe - CCB Assembly is used in the failsafe collimator assembly, which is part of the Computed Tomography (CT) system. It is attached to the top side of the base collimator assembly using provided mounting hardware. It consists of the chassis failsafe CCB, VCT CCB PWA, cable harness CCB 48VDC power cable, cable harness CCB to CAM motor and encoder harness, cushioned cable clamp and mounting hardware. The hardware includes fasteners screw, flat washer and curved lock spring washers. The VCT CCB Printed Wiring Assembly (PWA) is comprised of the following components; resistor, capacitor, inductor, IC's, semiconductor diode, transistor, fuse, Opto-coupler, LED, tactile switch, oscillator, surface mount pin strip header, line driver buffer, regulator, memory SDRAM, temperature sensor, DC-DC power supply, linear stepper motor driver switch and connectors. All parts of the assembly are manufactured using high precision techniques which help to achieve a very good surface finish as well as good product consistency. The high dimensional accuracy ensures a perfect fit of the chassis as per the requirement. This PWA is a multilayer with Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold (ENIG) finish. This board finish ensures solderability and to protects the exposed copper circuitry. The mounting hardware screw and washer are made of steel with zinc plating, which provides good corrosion resistance.
