Product Overview

The Gantry Control Panel (GCP) - CJ64 is a device, which is located on the left and right side of the Computed Tomography (CT) gantry. This is the right positioning panel that consists of switches, an electrical circuit board, control area network (CAN) interface, interface for debugging, Freescale's CPU (MC9S08DZ60A*LH), LEDs for debugging, reset switch and other mechanical parts. The GCP is an all in one unit. It has four stand-offs which are attached to protect the cover. These stand-offs are used when the GCP is put inside of CT gantry during maintenance. A gasket inside the GCP equipment is made of low modulus urethane foam or rubber sponge around the panel to prevent water from pouring into a gantry inside. A protection cover is coated with aluminum to prevent electrical shocks. A cardboard box covers the GCP to prevent from being damaged or cut when opened. The part number, descriptions, manufacture name, Country of Origin (COO) are displayed on the cardboard box for identification purposes. The GCP can also be used in molecular imaging and nuclear medicine and other medical applications.
